Shopping Our Stash Challenge: Geometric shapes

hello!  This week at SOS we are asking you to use geometric shapes!  Any shape will do- but the more the merrier!  I used this triangle themed paper and an image I had printed out ages ago  along, but never used- same thing with the sentiment.  When I stamp a sentiment I usually do a couple extra to have on hand.  I also used some cheery buttons and twine.  Colored with copics and called it done!

Image I think is from Teddy Bo.  I can't remember about the paper ..cardstgock si probably Bazzil or Gina K.

Thanks for stopping by- swing on by the SOS blog and check out the rest of the DT creations!

ABAC Anything But A Card- Masculine or Dear Ol' Dad

Hello! I am happy to be back with the ABAC crew-such a creative group of people- hoping some of it rubs of on me!  This is the second week of the current challenge- Masculine or Dear Ol' Dad.

I made a tag/bookmark using an image from From the Heart Digital Stamps- I love this sweet lighthouse image.  I used glossy cardstock from Ranger and cut a tag with my tag die- then used Distress Stains and ink. I added some paper from the Engravers pad by Prima- and the sentiment is from Verve- one of my fave verses.

I hope you can join us this week!

More ICAD cards

The one above I was all set to stamp and I dropped the stamp. SO instead of scrapping it, I just decided to make it a background stamp too.

Piece from vintage dictionary and puzzle pieces.

I haven't taken pics of all yet, but I am pretty much staying on track with my index card a day... although it's been more like two or three every other day or so....

Left of Center: LOC theme or Embossing with Dilly Beans Stamps!

Today over at Left of Center we begin a new challenge- to use some form of embossing and/or a LOC theme!

We are sponsored by one of my fave digi companies- Dilly Beans Stamps.  I love the uniqueness and fun they evoke!

I used this cute  Twinkle Hedgie on my creation- even though I tend to use the more LOC themed ones, I do love these more mainstream ones as well.

I colored him with copics.  The paper is from the SoHo Garden paper pad by American Crafts.  I used a border embossing folder on a strip of cardstock for the embossing part of the challenge.  The sentiment I had in my stash.  The cardstock is Bazzil.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dutch Dare: For Dad

Hello!  Over at Dutch Dare we are back with a timely challenge- for Dad!

I used a cute little bear image from our sponsor, Crafty Sentiments.   I kept it masculine at least in theme and a versatile sentiment so it can be used for other things as well.  I colored with copics, added some liquid pearls for the bubbles, and more of my current fave paper pad- So Noted from Pebbles.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamps.

Hope you can join us this week!

Shopping Our Stash: Use your oldest stamp

Hello and thanks for stopping by.  Today we begin a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash- use your oldest stamp!  I have to admit I cheated a bit and used and older stamp but not my very oldest.   I think my oldest is still a House Mouse stamp, but it is buried and since I am battling the flu/sinus thingy, I used something I could get to easily.  Don't judge me. :)

I used this Unity quote stamp on a simple tag I colored in stripes with my Distress Markers.  I had them out playing for ICAD and decided to do a tag- love the white against the bright colors.

So get out your oldest or almost-oldest stamp and join in!
